Great fun! Missed some multipliers again to be among top-10 but worked more QSO and more DX than last year! Frustrated to hear so many great DX but was not able to work them. Our north-west beverage worked great! It was really hard to stay awake the second night. Thanks to all that called! 73 de Lech LA7MFA

Great contest with very good activity !
Back to SO2R again and it took me about 10 hours before i got used to it.
Also very strange to run CW on the run radio and listening SSB on the 2nd
radio. I wonder how many contests it will take to get comfortable with SO2R
???. Propagation was not the best but that`s just the way it goes in LA land.
Last time we didnt have any solar disturbance in a whole contest was back in
1999 if i remember it correctly ...
)
73 and see you in WRTC (maybe)

What a Zoo! QRM everywhere, Splatter, Shouting, Jamming and the list goes
on….. It`s CQWW SSB and I love every minute of it! How on earth can I
explain this to my wife and non contesters? Planned to go for at least 46
hours operating time this year but a power failure Sunday night because of bad
WX put and end to that. Also had a couple of visits in the shack by Mr.Murphy
who decided to make a bad connection on the Mic cable to my Heil Pro and also
made a spell on the ACOM 2000 which was rather unstable during the whole
contest.
Thanks for a great event and hope to see you all next year with improved
propagation on 10 and 15 if solarcycle 24 ever shows up…..

The best low band condx ever and the worst ever high band condx at the same
time. What are the odds?
Congrats to LN9Z(Jan LA9HW, op) for a fantastic SB160 score and thanks to Team LN3Z for yet again inviting Murphy to their place for the WW CW weekend. Giving us time to contest in peace
Memorable moments: Called by KH7C Hawaii on 160m. CE0Y/SM6CUK whispered in on 20m for a double. Called by HS0ZDY on 80m for a double mult when only 9 minutes left of the contest. Plus many more that not comes to mind… We had lots of fun but enough is enough – give us flux, now! Thanks for all the QSO’s. Bjorn LB1GB & al.
